In 1990 the Virgona Family purchased the iconic “tin shed” on Warburton Highway, Launching Place and transformed it into an orderly, refurbished fruit and vegetable market. Their philosophy was to provide the best possible produce at competitive prices and to always maintain a friendly approach with unrivalled service. Nothing was too much trouble for the new business owners and they soon built up an enviable reputation in the district that still remains today.
